Frank lets you add other people to your account, whether that's a co-founder, a bookkeeper, an accountant, or a team member. Each user is given access to specific companies and entities, so you stay in control of who sees what.
How to get to Users
Click the Settings icon in the bottom-left corner of Frank.
Select Users from the left-hand menu.
The Users page shows everyone who has access to your account. Each entry lists the user's name, email address, and which company and entity they're a member of.
Inviting a new user
To add someone new to your Frank account:
Click + New User in the top-right corner.
Enter their name and email address.
Select which company and entity they should have access to.
Send the invitation.
The invited person will receive an email to join Frank. Once they accept, they'll appear in your Users list.
Adding an existing user to another company or entity
If someone is already a user on your account but needs access to an additional company or entity, use the + Invite to button on their user card. This lets you extend their access without creating a duplicate account for them.
This is useful if you have a bookkeeper who handles multiple entities, or a co-founder who needs to see across several companies.
β
Finding a specific user
Use the search bar at the top of the Users page to find someone by name or email. You can also filter the list by Companies or Entities using the dropdown filters, handy if you're managing a large team across multiple structures.
User roles
When you add a user to a company or entity, they're assigned a role. Currently, the default role is Member, which gives them access to view and interact with that company or entity's data in Frank. More granular role controls are on the way.
Adding users from the company details page
You can also manage users directly from a company's details page. Go to Settings β Companies β [Your Company], then click the Users tab. This shows you all the users who have access to that specific company, and you can add new ones from the same + Add New button in the top-right corner.
Summary
Go to Settings β Users to see everyone on your account, invite new team members, and manage who has access to which companies and entities. Use + New User to add someone fresh, and + Invite to on an existing user's card to give them access to additional companies or entities.
