What is multi-org and multi-entity support?
Frank now lets you manage multiple businesses — and multiple entities within each business — all from a single account. This means you can connect separate bank accounts, credit cards, and integrations to each business or entity, and Frank will keep everything cleanly separated.
You'll see your current context displayed at the top of the screen as a breadcrumb — for example: Your Name > Org > All Entities. From here you can drill down into a specific business or entity, or zoom out to see a combined group-wide view across everything.
Watch: A quick walkthrough of how multi-org and multi-entity works in Frank.
Who is this for?
This feature is designed for anyone running more than one business structure, or who needs to track finances across multiple divisions. Common use cases include:
Franchises — manage each location as its own entity while still seeing group-wide performance.
Multi-region or multi-country businesses — keep finances separated by region or jurisdiction.
Cross-state operations — useful where different entities are required for compliance or tax purposes.
Property groups — for example, a Property Management company and a Property Development company operating as related but separate entities.
Multi-company groups — run several businesses under a holding structure and see them individually or consolidated.
Founders managing personal finances — set up a personal entity (e.g. "Awesome Founder Trust") alongside your business entities to keep things tidy in one place.
How to set up your businesses and entities
From your Frank account, navigate to your account settings.
Select Organisations and click Add Business to create a new business under your account.
Within each business, you can add one or more entities — these might represent different legal entities, locations, divisions, or cost centres.
Connect your bank accounts, credit cards, and integrations at the business or entity level, so Frank knows exactly which data belongs where.
Navigating between businesses and entities
Once your structure is set up, you can switch context using the breadcrumb selector at the top of the screen. Click on Org to switch between businesses, or use the Entities dropdown to select a specific entity — such as a particular location, division, or legal entity.
Selecting All Entities gives you a combined view across all entities within that business, while navigating up to the top-level account gives you a group-wide picture across all businesses and entities.
Frank's AI will always respond in the context you're currently viewing — so if you're drilled into a specific entity, Frank's answers, reports, and insights will reflect only that entity's data.
A note on the Beta label
Multi-org and multi-entity support is currently in Beta. The core functionality is live and working, and we're continuing to refine the experience based on feedback. If you run into anything unexpected or have suggestions, we'd love to hear from you — just reach out via the help icon.
