Why Can't I Connect My QuickBooks Checking or Green Dot Account?

Frank doesn't currently support QuickBooks Checking (QuickBooks bank) or Green Dot accounts. Here's what that means and what to do next.

If you're trying to connect a QuickBooks Checking account or a Green Dot account and it's not showing up, that's expected. Frank doesn't currently support either of these banks.

Why These Banks Aren't Supported

Frank connects to banks via bank feed providers like Plaid, and Flinks. Both QuickBooks Checking (the embedded banking product from Intuit) and Green Dot are not available through any of the feed providers Frank currently uses.

This isn't a login issue or a permissions problem, it's a provider limitation. No amount of reconnecting or troubleshooting will change this.

What to Do Instead

If your business banking is split across supported and unsupported accounts, you can still connect everything else. Frank works well with most major banks, connecting a primary operating account will give you accurate cash tracking for that account.

Let Us Know

If QuickBooks Checking or Green Dot is your primary business account, reach out to the Frank team. We track unsupported bank requests and use them to prioritise which providers we add next. The more people who flag a bank, the sooner it gets on the roadmap.

Summary

QuickBooks Checking and Green Dot aren't supported by Frank's bank feed providers yet. If one of these is your main account, let the team know, it helps us prioritise.
