Frank sends a Daily Cash Summary email to keep you on top of your business cash position. By default, the Available Cash figure in that email is calculated using all of your connected bank accounts — but you can narrow this down to only the accounts that matter most to you, such as your main Checking account and a Reserves account.
How to Access Your Notification Settings
To control which accounts are included in your daily email:
Click on your profile or company name to open Settings.
Select Notifications from the left-hand menu.
You'll see the Email Notifications panel, where you can configure your Daily Cash Summary email settings.
Enabling the Daily Cash Summary Email
At the top of the Email Notifications panel, you'll find a checkbox labelled Daily cash summary email. Make sure this is checked to receive the daily email. If it's unchecked, Frank will not send you the daily summary regardless of the other settings below.
Choosing Which Accounts Are Included
Under Accounts included in summary, you'll find a dropdown that controls which bank accounts Frank uses to calculate the Available Cash figure in your daily email.
You have two options:
All accounts — Frank will include the balances from every connected bank account when calculating Available Cash. This is the default setting. Leave the field empty to include all accounts.
Specific accounts — Use the dropdown to select only the accounts you want included. For example, you might choose just your Checking account and your Reserves account if those represent the cash you actively manage day-to-day. Any accounts not selected will be excluded from the Available Cash figure in the email, even if they're connected to Frank.
This is particularly useful if you run a multi-account setup (such as Profit First) and want your daily summary to reflect only the accounts relevant to your operating cash, rather than every account Frank is tracking.
Frequency
The Frequency dropdown controls how often Frank sends the cash summary email. Currently this is set to Daily, meaning you receive one email per day.
Time of Day
The Time of day dropdown lets you choose what time Frank delivers your daily summary. You can set this to whatever time works best for your morning routine — for example, 06:00 so it's waiting in your inbox when you start your day. The time shown reflects your local timezone.
Saving Your Changes
Once you've configured your account selection, frequency, and delivery time, click Save Changes to apply your settings. Frank will use these preferences for all future daily summary emails.
Summary
Head to Settings → Notifications to take control of your daily cash summary email. You can include all connected accounts or pick specific ones, choose how often you receive the email, and set the exact time it lands in your inbox. This makes it easy to ensure your Available Cash figure reflects the accounts that matter most to how you run your business.
