Talking to Frank: Sales & Bills

How to ask Frank about your sales and outstanding bills, and interact with the visual charts he provides

Updated today

Frank acts as your virtual CFO, giving you instant visibility into your sales performance and outstanding bills. Here's how to get the most out of these conversations.

Asking About Sales

To ask Frank about your sales, open a New Conversation from the Frank dashboard. You can ask questions like "Show me my sales" or "What are my sales this month?" and Frank will respond with an interactive bar chart showing a monthly overview of your sales data.

The chart displays your sales by month, giving you a quick visual summary of performance over time. You can toggle between Chart view and Table view depending on how you prefer to see the data.

Drilling Into a Specific Period

Click on any bar in the chart to drill down into that specific month or period. Frank will show you a breakdown of individual sales, with each invoice marked as either Paid or Overdue so you can quickly identify outstanding amounts.

Within this detailed view, you can also toggle between Invoice Date and Due Date to see your sales data from different perspectives β€” useful when tracking cash flow versus when work was completed.

Frank's Written Analysis

In addition to the visual chart, Frank provides a written summary of your sales data, highlighting key trends, totals, and anything that may need your attention. This gives you both the numbers and the narrative in one place.

Asking About Bills

You can ask Frank about your outstanding bills in the same way β€” just type a question like "What bills do I have due?" or "Show me my outstanding bills." Frank will respond with a summary of your payables, including due dates and amounts, so you can stay on top of what you owe.

Summary

Frank makes it easy to stay on top of your sales and bills without digging through reports. Whether you want a high-level monthly overview or a detailed breakdown of individual invoices, just ask Frank and he'll surface the information you need instantly.
